Process for taking shots by means of a scanning microscope of the environmental aspects, the said process comprising the steps consisting in - insert (110) at least one sample (2) to be observed in an enclosure of the microscope; - adjust (120) the gas pressure prevailing in said enclosure as a function of the nature of the sample (2); - record (130) a signal (s1) obtained by electron scanning, the said signal being representative of a succession of images (i) forming a sequence and - accelerate, during a step of the post - treatment (140 - 160), said signal (s1) in a proportion such that a scanning line present on said images (i1, j) is not perceptible to the eye in the signal to be accelerated (s2, s3 ). This process can be used for the production of a video film, which makes it possible to eliminate the scanning lines and to compensate for the slowness of the animals due to the partial vacuum which they are subjected.
