Storage container for wine bottles has false wall panel to aid stacking of shorter bottles in container

The storage container has a base (3) and sidewalls and has a floor (5) to allow wedging of the bottles on laths in a position perpendicular to the floor and the entry face of the container. The floor has laths which allow wedging of special bottles (2) such as those which do not occupy the total surface when stacked. For stacking these bottles, a supplementary wall (24) is installed between the sidewalls of the container, to double the rear wall (12) of the container. AN Independent claim is also included for a method of stacking the bottles
