Preparing conditionally immortalized cells, useful e.g. for cellular therapy and screening, by treatment with immortalizing proteins

Preparation of conditionally immortalized cells (A) by treating cells with at least one immortalizing protein (I) under conditions where (I) can penetrate into the cells. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) (A) produced this way; (2) (I) associated, conjugated or coupled to a vector (II) that can transport (I) into the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of the cell, for use in the new method; and (3) culture of cells on a medium that contains at least one (I).
