The ice skate comprises a boot (2) with a rigid sole (S) against which a blade (3) is fixed. The sole has a blade positioner (L) enabling the blade to be correctly positioned in the transverse direction. The positioner comprises centralizers (C1,C2) which are constituted by downwards projecting protuberances (15,22) comprising a groove in which a front edge (9a) of a blade mounting (9) is engaged.
