P The invention relates to a bin intended to receive a flexible bag (6) for collecting waste, called a "bin bag", of the type comprising: - a hollow body (1), - an articulated cover (2) allowing '' closing said hollow body, - a groove (30) for receiving the upper edge of the trash bag (6), open towards the top of the trash can and located along the periphery of the upper rim (11) of said hollow body, - holding means (4) of the upper edge of the garbage bag inside said receiving groove (30), these holding means (4) being movable between a first position in which they hold said upper edge inside said groove (30) and a second position in which they release this edge. The invention is remarkable in that said holding means (4) comprise a cover (40) closing the opening of said receiving groove (30), so as to define a closed housing receiving the upper edge of said bag (6) during that said holding means (4) are in the first position. /P
