P Hemispherical protuberance bit. The invention relates to jaws intended for clamping parts on a vice, mandrel or plate of machine tool. These jaws leave tolerable imprints in the tight element which need not be removed. They limit deformations. The part in contact with the clamping element (1) is identical to the jaws for which they replace and the part in contact with the clamping element (2) has a hemispherical protrusion (3) end (4) which leaves an imprint in the room without sharp edges which limits the stresses and avoids the incipient fractures. Each jaw, relative to its axis of rotation, can present one or more prominences arranged on the same diameter, on the same generator, neither on the same diameter nor on the same generator. These elements can be removable and interchangeable. This invention is intended for the clamping of all the parts and more particularly the wheels of railway materials during their reshaping. /P
