Fuel-injection system for automotive IC engine, has electronic controller which has improved transition from one fuel injection regime to another, during the fuel injection period, for each particular cylinder
The system includes an electronic controller (56) coupled to an injector (14) and an assembly of detectors coupled to the controller which is activated for the injector to eject multiple jets of fuel to the cylinder during the injection period. The controller equally determines the moment when a form of active signal sent by the controller, which represents a certain desired fuel injection regime, changes to another form of injection signal, which represents another fuel injection regime. If the variations of fuel and the speed of the engine are greater than these respective hysterisis values, the active wave form of the signal, is replaced by a potential form of the wave.
