A composite conductive material for use in the form of electrodes for fuel cells contains lamellar graphite, agglomerated lamellar graphite and conductive fibers in an fluorinated thermoplastic binder
A composite conductive material consisting of a mixed and compressed mixture of two types of lamellar graphite, optionally conductive fibers and an organic binder. The material consists of 40-90 vol.% of a graphite powder consisting of a lamellar graphite with a granulometry 10-100 mu m and/or a second type of lamellar graphite formed of agglomerations of particles bonded to and superposed on one another so that their principal planes are parallel, having a planar anisotropy and dimensions 10 mu m-1mm by 5-50 mu thick; 0-25 vol.% of conductive fibers; 10-40 vol.% of an organic binder. Independent claims are included for production of the material and a fuel cell electrode formed from it.
