The door hinge comprises a fixed knuckle (20) integral with the vehicle bodywork and a movable knuckle (30) integral with the door. The fixed knuckle is formed by a stirrup comprising a central part (21) fixed on the bodywork and two branches (22,23) of different length. The movable knuckle is connected to the free end of the long branch by a pivot spindle (50) passing through the movable knuckle through an oblong hole and to the free end of the short branch by a part (40) moving the movable knuckle in translation in a vertical plane and by pivoting around the spindle.
