Pollution sensor for water reservoirs detects lack of fish movement to indicate pollution and trigger an alarm

Method in which the movement of fishes in water is observed using video cameras and light diodes. The resulting video signal, originating from the camera, is submitted to a dynamic analysis of the blacks and whites. Observation is carried out in an opaque tank with blackened walls illuminated with light diodes so that fish movement shows as silver flashes. Absence of movement triggers an alarm. Images are decomposed into row and columns, an analogue processing method is followed and an alarm triggered in the absence of any movement.
