Plastic pallet has deck formed by pattern of openwork partitions defining larger openings joined by second set of annular nodes at grid intersections

The openwork structure of the deck is formed by partitions in regular lines and columns. The grid formed, has openings (9) extending completely across the deck, having annular nodes (10) at intersections. The nodes form a set of second openings (8) extending completely across the deck. An Independent claim is included for the method of manufacture by injection of mixed thermoplastic and thermoplastic elastomers into a mold. Preferred features: First and second openings have octagonal and rectangular sections respectively. Alternatively second openings have circular section. The section of the first opening exceeds that of the second, being 3 to 5 times greater. Partitions lie at an angle oblique to the longitudinal and transverse extents of the pallet. Feet (3) aligned in rows, are interconnected at their bases by resting profiles (4). Each of these profiles is partitioned like the deck, the openings facing it. The thermoplastic originates from recycled plastic waste.
