The vehicle seat consists of a seat cushion, which extends between front (2a) and rear (2b) edges, and mounted to pivot freely on a rigid support (5), around a horizontal transverse axis (Y1), located close to the front edge of the frame. The support carries an anchorage ring (12), to attach a child's seat and to act as an anchorage for the primary safety hook (15), fitted to the rear edge of the seat frame. The primary safety hook is displaced forwards in the case of shock loading to act as extra security to prevent the seat from tipping.
