Coordinated management of telecommunication contracts and services, uses object models of service and contract keeping working and latent versions and uses state monitoring to automatically reflect changes

The co-ordinated management of a service (85) uses object-oriented technology to construct an object model (80) of the service and an object model (90) of the contract. Two versions of these models are held: a working versions and a latent version. States (89,106) are defined to determine at all instants coordination between a version of the service and a version of the contract model.
