Tower crane has base with tower and assembly with boom and stowable counter-boom

The tower crane (1) has a base (2), a tower (3) and an assembly rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation. The assembly has a boom (4) with a movable carriage (5) and a counter boom (6) with a counterweight (7). At least part of the counter boom is mounted in the assembly to be pivoted towards the axis of rotation in an out of operation condition. The counterweight can be tilted into the rest position.
