A method for the fabrication of cast metal alloy components, comprises filling a mould with molten alloy, demoulding after solidification and subjecting the component to pressing between two die imprints, incorporates an intermediate stage, after demoulding and prior to pressing, consisting of a rapid cooling to obtain a homogeneous structure. The pressing is then carried out at ambient temperature. After pressing the component may be maintained at ambient temperature or subjected to a tempering treatment. The imprints of the die have dimensions slightly less than those of the mould.
