The method consists of placing a liquid visco-elastic polymer damping layer (16) on a first face of first and second plates (14,15). The two plates with their adhesive damping layers are turned towards each other and positioned by displacing them diagonally to form free longitudinal edge parts (17), where one of the plates extends beyond the other. The assembled plates are then subjected to a pressure so as to form a laminated plate.
