Endodontic instrument for preparing a root canal for filling has blade with three sections to shape canal for convenient filling

The instrument consists of a handle and a blade in three sections with different angles of taper - a tip, less than 5 mm long, with an angle of taper of 10 per cent, an intermediate section with an angle of 2 - 4 per cent, and a crown section of 8 - 10 per cent. The instrument forms a channel (2') in the tooth with sections (3', 5') at the crown and tip of corresponding shape.
