An adhesive consists of a mixture of four natural products honey, starch, water and cane sugar. Equal quantities of the honey, sugar and starch are mixed together in a beaker and water is added to give a consistency that can be applied by a standard spray container onto a silicone strip round the top of a stocking so that it sticks reliably to the skin and stays up all day.
