The roof comprises a rectangular frame and a closing panel (10,11) able to translate relative to the frame by means of longitudinal rollers (12) running in U-shaped rails (13,14). The removable rollers are installed on a longitudinal edge (10c, 10d,11d) of a panel. Each roller comprises a running surface which engages a rolling track formed by a rail web (13i,14i) and a stop which engages the rail web edges.
