The catalytic burner-diffuser comprises a burner (1) which is impregnated with a catalytic effect product where combustion of the liquid to be diffused is carried out. It also comprises a diffuser (2) impregnated with the liquid which is evaporated into the ambient air at the diffuser surface due to heating in the burner. The liquid is brought by capillary effect by contact with a wick soaking in the liquid. The diffuser has an opening (20) passing through it and the burner is assembled in the diffuser by a long part (11) passing through this opening.
