Method includes display of publicity or commercial material on a whole page of the multimedia book. Includes dynamic installation of a commercial or publicity space in one the books pages, and/or pre-installation of such data in the book. as well as off line tracking of one or more of the books pages. Also includes off line processing of a time action for an event or promotional campaign or publicity. Method for managing events, notably publicity or commercial, on a communication space, such as the WEB, including inclusion of spaces. associated with the events, in the pages of a multimedia electronic book containing a group of frames including two frames for display of book content. The spaces include links to external or internal addresses of pages of the book. The group of pages accessed in response to control actions in the spaces are uniquely displayed in one of the two display frames in the context of the multimedia book. Independent claims are also included for: an event generating system and application of the method.
