The actuator intended to rotate a sub-assembly comprises a linear traction actuator (3) extended by a pivoting fastener. This assembly is connected to a long U-shaped frame (2) so as to be only subjected to rotational movement. The actuator has a cylindrical body (6) with two diametrically opposite protuberances (7) and a sliding rod (8). Two parallel faces of the frame have a slit (15) in which the protuberances are abutted. The actuator is held in position by a compression pin (16) placed between each protuberance and a fixed frame support (14).
