The seat comprises a back with trimming (11) comprising cushioning (13) with trimming lining (14). The back comprises an airbag activating system (8) located in a casing (9) provided with a contact wall (19) supported against the trimming. The trimming has an opening delimited by an edge (11a) surrounding the casing and comprising a textile flange (23) located between the cushioning and the lining. The lining and the flange are placed in a mold before injection of foam. A part of the cushioning is enclosed between the contact wall and a bezel (17) added to the trim lining and fixed to the casing.
