PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for solidifying a liquid of low degree of supercooling instantaneously by eliminating active supercooling at arbitrary time and place using a small system.;SOLUTION: Liquid phase and gas phase of supercooling liquid are formed in a container and the gas/liquid interface formed of the liquid phase and the gas phase is vibrated by applying a vibration along the gas/liquid interface and/or the vicinity thereof to form a crushing wave of the supercooling liquid. Liquid drops of the supercooling liquid is scattered to collide against the inner wall of the container located in the gas phase and the supercooling liquid is admixed with the liquid drops and bubbles through the gas/liquid interface. The bubbles expand, contract, split, bind or vanish while being mixed to oscillate the gas/liquid interface violently thus solidifying the supercooling liquid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
