Screening method of cancer therapeutic drug using interaction region of p53 and motor

We analyzed the interaction between p53 and motor kinase, and found that the region of amino acid number 253 - 282 of the motor protein and the region of 33-352 of p53 protein are involved in the binding of p53 with the motor. In vivo reporter analysis revealed that only the mot-2 protein inhibited p53 dependent transcriptional activation.
