PURPOSE: To improve assembling precision and working efficiency in which a corner piece is inserted in a concave shape flange of a corner part of a duct and calked. ;CONSTITUTION: As an inserting mechanism M1, a press metal 12 is supported in a freely vertically rocking state on the tip end part of a retaining arm 13 which is freely vertically rocking with a rocking arm 51 and the corner piece is thrusted by the press metal tool 12 in a posture that the metal 12 is inclined with lowered rear end. As a calking mechanism M2, the opening angle of tip end calking pawl 40 of calking plate 15 is set larger than right angle. As an inserting and calking device, a driving force transmitting mechanism M3 by which the inserting mechanism M1 is moved linked with fore stroke of a hydraulic cylinder 26 and the calking mechanism M2 is moved linked with the stroke of the cylinder 26 is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
