PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optimum solution survey device which performs GA to efficiently obtain a parameter determination guideline when setting parameters again. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a genetic algorithm arithmetic means 3 composed of an initial pattern generating means 3A which generates an initial pattern, a variation means 3C which generates a specific number of variation patterns, a crossing-over means 3D which generates a specific number of crossing-over patterns, a selecting means 3E which selects a specific number of patterns, and a means which uses the specific number of patterns selected by the selecting means instead of the initial pattern and repeats a series of genetic algorithms by the variation means, crossing-over means, and selecting means. Further, the device is provided with an information adding means 4 which adds history information to the patterns generated by the variation means 3C or crossing-over means 3D and an information adding means 5 which adds history information on the patterns selected by the selecting means 3E.
