PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the water quality of city water for end consumers at a suitable level in a water quality control system for city water for controlling the water quality of a city water pipe network provided with city water pipelines leading to consumer faucets from a purification plant. ;SOLUTION: In a water distribution small pipe network 31 branched from a water distribution main pipe network 3 of water supply and leading to the user side, water quality monitors 40, 41, 42 for measuring the water quality of city water in the pipes are installed, and at the base point of the water distribution small pipe network 31, a water distribution equipment 21 for improving the water quality is installed.
