PURPOSE:To detect an accurate electrocardiographic wave by detecting abnormality of an electrode for detecting the electrocardiographic wave. CONSTITUTION:This electrocardiographic wave detecting system 1 detects an electrocardiographic wave by means of electrocardiographic wave detecting electrodes 2a and 2b and forms a wave shape in a wave shape forming circuit 4 and outputs it into an AND circuit 5. Sudden movement of a human body is detected by means of an accerelation speed sensor 6 and the wave shape is formed in a wave shape forming circuit and it is outputted into the AND circuit 5 and a controller 12 as a low accerelation speed signal. When the accerelation speed signal is high, the AND circuit 5 outputs the electrocardiographic signal to a ratch circuit 11 and the controller 12 and the ratch circuit 11 counts a clock signal inputted from a periphery dividing circuit 10 so as to synchronize the electrocardiographic wave and outputs the counted value to the controller 12. The controller 12 operates the number of pulsus from the counted value and displays it on a displaying part, but when the low accerelation speed signal is inputted from the wave shape forming circuit 8, operation of the number of pulse is interrupted during the period and it is displayed on the displaying part 14.
