PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the design of a gap between a crimping piece in a crimp piece groove and an inner wall in the groove. PSOLUTION: In using a flat cable 3 with another flat insulation coating 2, the gap between a crimp piece 6 in the crimp groove 10 of a flat cable receptacle fitting and a side inner wall 10a in the crimp piece groove 10 is decided by adjusting the gap designed to get an optimum contact pressure between a crimp piece pierced on a flat cable 3 already used covered with a flat insulation coating 2 of a material and a flat conductor 1 by the difference of the compression elasticity limit of the flat insulation coating 2 used and that of a flat insulation coating 2 to be used anew.
