PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an optical fiber cable capable of easily coping with every variation of the optical fiber cable and improving the precision of optical axis aligning.;SOLUTION: In the connector for the optical fiber cable having a housing part 8 which is attached to the top end of the optical fiber cable 3 at the center of which an optical fiber 3a is arranged and to the outer periphery of which coating is applied and which coats and also holds the top end part of the optical fiber cable 3 by being fitted around the same and a ferrule part 9 in which the optical fiber 3a exposed at the top end of the optical fiber cable 3 is fitted into an optical fiber holding hole 13, the ferrule part 9 is formed as the separated body of the housing part 8, and the ferrule part 9 is integrally held to the housing part 8 in the state that the optical fiber 3a is held by the optical fiber holding hole 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
