PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for treating waste in which waste electric appliances, etc., are peeled and crushed by each type of material and sorted to recover valuable resources. ;CONSTITUTION: A motor, etc., removed by a metal block sorting means 4 are cooled by a cooler 9 and fed to a crusher 5 to be crushed at low temperatures.
