PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid diet and aseptic high-calorie liquid diet having satisfactory flavor, high calorie, low viscosity and satisfactory tube flowability. SOLUTION: As for this liquid diet containing protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin and mineral, the energy value thereof is higher than 1.5kcal/ml, and the protein is mixed in any certain ratio amount (a) animal or plant protein decomposed substance in 0.5 to 1.5wt.% in full lactic protein in 1.0wt.%, (b) sodium caseinate or calcium caseinate in 0.3 to 0.7wt.% or animal protein decomposed substance or plant protein decomposed substance in 0.3 to 0.7wt.% in full lactic protein in 1.0wt.%. This aseptic high-calorie liquid diet is composed of the liquid diet aseptic and a container in which the liquid is stored and the liquid diet is heated, sterilized and charged in aseptic state.
