PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily browse (print) a WWW homepage with normal FAX equipment. SOLUTION: A WWW homepage stored by an HTTP server computer 7 is converted into a data format on a protocol that can be recognized by normal FAX equipment, the converted data format is transmitted to FAX equipment 6, and the equipment 6 can print the WWW homepage. As its configuration, this system is provided with a WWW homepage ID receiving function 2 which receives a WWW homepage ID from the equipment 6, an HTTP client function 3 which obtains the WWW homepage of a WWW homepage address (URL) from the computer 7 and stores it, a rasterizing function 4 which converts the WWW homepage into the bitmap image data of a protocol G3 format and a protocol G3 processing function 5 which transmits the WWW homepage converted into the bitmap of the protocol G3 format to the equipment 6.
