PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regular roofing construction with plain tiles combined with half-round tiles having excellent resistance against earthquake and storm, for which upper and lower roof tiles and adjacent plain roof tiles can be overlapped easily and definitely.;SOLUTION: Eaves plain roof tiles having stepped portions at surface-raised portions and swelled portions at the head surface sides of plain roof tiles, which has stepped portions at rising portions at both the sides and plain roof tiles having bulged portions at both the sides at the head of plain roof tile construction using also hang tiles with Tomoe design (comma-shaped heraldic design) patterns, and also end surfaces at head side of upper portion of both rised top potion of plain tiles and the end surfaces of the head side of plain tiles are respectively butted and stopped to the stepped portion of the rising portion of both the side surface of bulged portions at both the sides of the eaves plain tiles and the bulged portions at both the sides of the plain tile surface head side, and the tops of the rising portions of both side surfaces of eaves plain tiles and plain tiles are connected together thereby forming weirs at both the side surfaces, and then the bottom end surface of the hang Tomoe design pattern is butted to the swelled portions of the eaves plain the regular plain the thereby finishing the roofing work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
