PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand blasting apparatus capable of preventing impurity having an adverse effect upon a cutting material from invading into the cutting material by preventing the cutting material from scattering to the outside of the processing chamber in sand blasting work.;SOLUTION: In this sand blasting apparatus, a blast nozzle 23 is put into the processing chamber 20 through a supported shaft 25, a nozzle position is moved along a slit 22 for moving the shaft 25, the grinding material 26 is jetted from the nozzle by compressed air through a mask to selectively cut off a substance on the surface of an object 19 to be processed. For prevention of the grinding material from scattering to the processing chamber from the slit 22, a brush 28 is provided on both sides of the upper section of the slit 22, with which the slit 22 is covered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
