PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure which has an ability to improve a load capacity of a continuous girder bridge and also prevent cracking in a slab.;SOLUTION: External cables 31 (prestressing steel) are arranged in spans L1, L2 of a continuous girder B. Each external cable 31 is extended along the side of a main girder 20 over the whole area between spans, and an end of mid-supporting point side is extended over the mid-supporting point to the next span area. In this state, a halfway section of the external cable 31 is hooked at the middle of the span with the bottom part of the main girder 20, and both end sections including the extended end is lifted up from the halfway section and fixed to the upper part of the main girder 20 with strain conditions. By these arrangements, the external cables 31 of two spans L1, L2 which are next to each other cross at a point approximately right above the mid-supporting point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
