PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect derailment of a rolling stock when it is traveling at a low speed.;SOLUTION: A derailment detector comprises a vertical acceleration detection sensor 3, a filter 4 to filter the output of the vertical acceleration sensor in a predetermined range, and a detection circuit 5 which compares the filter output with the derailment detection reference value for the rolling stock when it is traveling at a low speed, and outputs the derailment detection output signal based on the compared value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
