PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production technique capable of producing a lace knitted fabric capable of being used for the treatment of the terminal of a fabric and keeping its beautiful appearance of its purl well. ;SOLUTION: This lace knitted fabric 100 used for the treatment of the terminal of a fabric, is obtained by being equipped with non-dissolvable fiber wales 22a, 22b consisting of the non-dissolvable fiber in lace width direction by putting a dissolvable fiber wale 21 consisting of the dissolvable fiber capable of being removed by dissolving with a dissolving treatment in between, providing a transition yarn 31 for connection over from one of the non-dissolvable fiber wale 22a to the other non-dissolvable fiber wale 22b by putting the dissolvable fiber wale 21 in between, also installing a transition yarn 32 for forming a purl over from one of the non-dissolvable fiber wale 22a or the other non- dissolvable fiber wale 22b to the dissolvable fiber wale 21 and returning to the original wale for knitting the knitted lace, and removing by dissolving the dissolvable fiber from the lace knitted fabric after completing the knitting.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
