PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of a seed crystal by pressurizing a soln. for crystal growth in a soln. sealing chamber to open a soln. flow passage which is shut off by a sealing member, transferring this soln. into a crystal growth chamber, holding the soln. therein under pressurization and growing the crystal with the seed crystal as a nucleus. ;CONSTITUTION: A pressure is applied to the sealing member consisting of one or plural capillaries packed partially with grease, etc., when the soln. 15 for crystal growth in the soln. sealing chamber 12 is pressurized by supplying a pressure medium 13 into a pressure medium chamber 14 of a pressure cell 2 and pressing an elastic material cell member 11. The sealing member 44 is then broken and the soln. flow passage 19 is opened from shutting. The soln. 15 for crystal growth in the soln. sealing chamber 12 flows into the crystal growth chamber 23 where the soln. is held under pressurization. The soln. 15 for crystal growth under the high pressure in the crystal growth chamber 23 starts crystal growth with the seed crystal 25 as the nucleus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
