PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize a particle size by removing a substance depositing on a bed material.;SOLUTION: A bed material enlarged by deposits in a fluidized bed type incinerator 10 is extracted once from the incinerator and then subjected to a blast of high speed air in a deposit removing device 12, whereby an abrading action of the bed material removes the deposits.
