PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter/receiver for remote operation of a computer and a remote operation method for the computer which do not use large amounts of cables, and are free from a break in the cables and restrictions on the installation location of a computer to be managed (remotely operated) and a distance from the location of a computer to be operated remotely. PSOLUTION: The transmitter/receiver is mechanically and detachably connected to a remotely operated computer 13 (41) and comprises image informing input parts 6, 7, into which screen information of the remotely operated computer 13 (41) is inputted; keystroke output parts 8, 9 with which keystroke information is outputted to keystroke input parts 18, 19 formed on the remotely operated computer; and radio transmission/reception parts 4, 5, with which image information inputted into the image information input parts 6, 7 is transmitted and the keystroke information is received.
