PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a quantitative evaluation of implementated multiplicity in a program by using a comparison index value between each component constituting the program, to efficiently and steadily detect implementated multiple codes, and to efficiently and steadily detect a section needing simultaneous alteration in the program based on the quantitative evaluation of the implemented multiplicity.;SOLUTION: When a tree T is input (S501), an initial value of the implementated multiplicity m(P) for a program P expressed by the tree T is set to 0 and a vertex of the tree T is selected as a node N (S502). For the selected node N, the attribute information such as the degree of similarity of the node and the number of children is acquired to perform a prescribed calculation and obtained value α is added to the implementated multiplicity m(P) (S503). By performing the prescribed calculation on all nodes in the tree T (YES at S504, S505), the implementation multiplicity m(P) including a summation of the value α for all nodes is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
