PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of a time constant of a filter or the like even when plural input units are provided or an input unit is located apart from a CPU unit. ;CONSTITUTION: A tool 4 is used to input a time constant for filters 22a 22c of input units 2a-2c while corresponding to a node number of each of the input units 2a-2. Then a CPU 11 receives the time constant via a tool I/F 15 and writes the time constant to registers 22a-22c of the corresponding input units 2a-2c based on a node number or the like via an input I/F 14. The filters 21a-21c of the input units 2a-2c eliminate noise from each input signal based on the time constant stored in the registers 22a-22c storing each time constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
