PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ferromagnetic metallic thin film type magnetic tape having high reliability in still durability and repetitive traveling durability after a long-time storage in an environment at a high temperature and high humidity.;SOLUTION: A ferromagnetic metallic thin film 3, a carbon-base protective film 4 and a lubricative layer 5 are successively disposed on one face of a base film 2 and a back coat layer 6 is disposed on the other face of the base film 2 to obtain the objective ferromagnetic metallic thin film type magnetic tape 1. The lubricative layer 5 comprises a mixture of an alkylsuccinic fluoroalkyl monoester and an alkylsuccinic fluoroalkyl diester and has 2-40 wt.% diester content.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
