摘要

PURPOSE: To easily classify a bundle of discharged paper for every job and to obtain continuous paper discharging for each job by forbidding a push-and- shift action when a bundle of discharged paper in the preceding job is detected and performing the push-and-shift action either when a bundle of discharged paper in the preceding job is not detected or when it was once detected but it is no longer detected thereafter. ;CONSTITUTION: When one image forming job is completed, execution of a subsequent job is forbidden once in order to detect whether or not the discharged paper in the preceding job remains as it is pushed/shifted by a collating bar 33 by using a this-side-take-out sensor 36. In case where the discharged paper in the preceding job remains, a message requiring the discharged paper to be removed is given to a user via an operating part. When no discharged paper in the preceding job is detected, the push-and-shift action to the discharged paper in the present job is performed, and execution of subsequent image forming job is allowed, thereby completing the control over the present job. Thus, a break for every job by means of the push-and-shift action can be maintained, while a bundle of discharged paper for every job can be classified easily.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
