PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery paper placement device which, even in paper having a high level of curling such as thin paper, can realize smooth paper delivery processing at a high speed and can allow a large quantity of paper sheets to be loaded on a paper delivery tray while correcting curling of paper sheets.;SOLUTION: The delivery paper placement device includes a receiving member that, at a position located below a paper delivery roller and spaced on the paper delivery tray and on a mounting surface of paper sheets mounted on the paper delivery tray, receives a posterior portion of paper sheets delivered by the paper delivery roller and allows the paper sheets to be loaded thereon.
