PURPOSE: To obtain the subject resin highly balanced in gloss and impact resistance by using a mixture of a styrene-butadiene block copolymer, a polybutadiene an styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber as a tough ening agent. ;CONSTITUTION: 3-30 wt.% stressing and tough ening agent having ≤75JIS-A hardness and consisting of 100 pts.wt. total amount of (A) 10-98 pts.wt. styrene- butadiene block copolymer having 30000-1000000 weight average molecular weight, 1-1.2 molecular weight distribution, 30-70wt.% total bound styrene amount and block styrene amount of ≥60wt.% based on the total bound styrene amount and (B) 2-90wt.% styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and/or polybutadiene having 1000-1000000 weight average molecular weight, 1-1.6 molecular weight distribution, 0-15 wt.% total bound styrene amount and 10-80% 1,4-bond amount is subjected to bulk polymerization with 70-97wt.% styrene- based monomer to provide the objective resin dispersing the tough ening agent in the resin as particles having 0.3-0.7 average particle diameter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
