PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce aluminum alloy material excellent in wear resistance and mechanical properties by a casting-forging method subjected to no extruding stage. ;SOLUTION: This aluminum alloy material has a compsn. contg., by weight, 3.0 to 7.0% Si, 0.6 to 1.5% Mg, 0.1 to 0.5% Mn, 0.3 to 0.9% Cu, 0.3 to 0.5% Cr, 0.25% Fe, 0.01 to 0.2% Ti and 0.001 to 0.01% B, furthermore contg., at need, one or two kinds of 0.001 to 0.05% Sr and 0.05 to 0.15% sb, and the balance substantial Al. The average length of eutectic Si at the time of casting is preferably regulated to 3 to 6m. A perform produced by die casting is subjected to homogenizing treatment of heating at 500 to 535C for 2 to 12hr.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
