(57) Abstract It is the electro-optic element which formed the optical waveguide which is spread the lightwave signal according to first propagation direction, in the electric optical material. In addition as for this component it is formed in the electric optical material, and the association making the optical waveguide electromagnetically in collinearity vis-a-vis the optical waveguide, it includes the electric guided wave path which is laid out, the electric guided wave path the electric information is spread to first propagation direction. The compensating network is joined by the electric guided wave path electrically at junction position, the electric information first propagation direction substantially fault is spread to the second propagation direction which is collinearity. At the time of operation, as for the compensating network, phase of the electric information or at least one of amplitude is respectively adjusted at junction position vis-a-vis the phase or amplitude of the modulation where the top of the lightwave signal in junction position is accumulated, the electric information which was adjusted next is reset to the electric guided wave path.
